                              RESOLUTION NO. 21742
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF
                 PUBLIC WORKS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH
                 BETTS ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES, INC., RELATIVE TO
                 TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (TDOT)
                 PROJECT NO. 33005-2154-44, MORE PARTICULARLY
                 DESCRIBED HEREIN, FOR A FEE NOT TO EXCEED
                 NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND, FORTY-FOUR AND 72/100
                 DOLLARS ($95,044.72), WHICH AMOUNT IS TO BE
                 REIMBURSED BY TDOT.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of Public Works be 

       and is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with Betts
       Engineering Associates, Inc. to design, provide construction and
       easement services, surveying, and inspection for the relocation 
of
       sanitary sewers for Tennessee Department of Transportation 
Project
       No. 33005-2154-44, Widening of I-75 and Tennessee Highway 153
       between East Brainerd Road and Shallowford Road at I-75, for a 
fee
       not to exceed $95,044.72, 100% of which is reimbursable by the
       Tennessee Department of Transportation.
